Terms of Service

Effective April 2026

Placing an order on Tennessee Guns means you agree to these terms. Most of it is standard federal-law eligibility, plus the practical details of how online firearms sales work.

Eligibility

The receiving FFL will run a NICS background check before transferring the firearm. If you are unsure whether you qualify, find out before you order.

Pricing & Availability

Prices are subject to change without notice. Inventory shown reflects best-effort accuracy at the time you load the page. If an item turns out to be unavailable after order, we either substitute with your approval or refund 100%.

FFL Transfer

All firearms ship to an FFL of your choosing. The receiving FFL conducts the NICS background check, the 4473, and any state-mandated waiting period. Tennessee Guns is not responsible for the FFL’s transfer fee, denied background checks, or refusal of transfer at the receiving FFL’s discretion.

State Compliance

You are responsible for verifying that the firearm and its configuration is legal in your state, county, and city before ordering. We will refuse shipment of any item we know is illegal at the destination. We are not responsible for laws that change between order and delivery, but we will work with you on a substitute or refund if a transfer cannot complete due to a law change in transit.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from product use, misuse, or third-party actions. This includes — for example — losses from a denied NICS check, a state-level rejection, or a customer-induced firearm modification that voids the manufacturer warranty.

Account Security

If you create a customer account, you are responsible for the security of the password. We recommend strong, unique passwords and a password manager. If your account shows unauthorized activity, email us immediately and we will lock it pending review.

Governing Law

Any dispute is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Federal law (18 U.S.C. § 922 and 27 CFR Part 478) controls firearms-specific obligations.

Contact for Disputes

Reach out to support@tn-guns.com first. Most issues are resolved without escalation. If a dispute cannot be resolved by email, the matter goes to mediation in Davidson County, TN, before any litigation.
